Meet Lauren Reynolds:
I decided to become an artist at five years old, and have chased that dream through dozens of different art forms and creative outlets in the intervening years. I've been a student painter in Texas, a t-shirt designer in Virginia, a pastry chef in Wisconsin, and a cake artist in Maryland. Along the way, I picked up pottery and jewelry-making. I've discovered that I'm happiest when I have ample opportunity for learning new skills and creating new art. Working with Fire & Bliss is the latest of these opportunities...I believe deeply in its mission, and I'm so excited to see where it goes.
My work is diverse in style and media, but the common theme of it is nature...the elements, botanicals, and the human form are all recurring motifs. This is what inspires my work, which I see as an homage to the incredible beauty and divinity of the natural world.
