Meet WJ Cunningham

WJ lives a quiet life with his husband in Western North Carolina. His life has been filled teaching art, designing costumes and sets for various stage productions, and creating illustrations for books and magazines. His work has been seen in galleries from New York City to San Francisco, winning “Best of Show” awards in several juried events.

His style is expressive using line, color and movement to reflect his mood at the moment. His pallet is often muted but when he pushes the color button it explodes off the canvas.
